SMBA/WMLA Legislative Day 2012

Schedule:

  • 8:30–9:30 AM:         General session/coffee, Red Lion, Olympia
                                      Presentation- Scott Gaspard
  • 9:30–11:30 AM:       Appointments with legislators
  • 11:30–12:45 PM:     Meet in cafeteria for lunch
  • 1:00–3:00 PM:         Appointments with legislators

The day is free to SMBA and WMLA members, but does not include lunch.

It’s time!

The Mortgage Banking Legislative day is officially registering key contacts to “take the hill” on January 26, 2012. If you have not already received your guidelines as to what is being asked of you to participate, please let us know.

Your Senators and Representatives are waiting to see you with prearranged appointments. More details will follow for those of you that are registered by December 29th 2011.

We are looking forward to a great event that will benefit our industry in a big way. 

You will have NWA of Professional Mortgage Women, WMLA, MBA, Spokane MBA, associations represented here. You will be scheduled to meet with your representative, so indicate your district number when registering.

Several meeting areas will be designated for attendees to meet in order to carpool.

Registration in advance required.

Message from the President

 

  altWelcome all members of Puget Sound Mortgage Lenders Association!

 

  It is with great honor that I serve as your president.  I am excited at the education that we will all share and the positive impact that we are able to have in our communities and with our state and local government.

  2012 will be yet another interesting year for us as we see the future of Fannie and Freddie get mapped out. More and more of our teammates at different companies will see changes, I am sure, so it is critical we all communicate and work as one industry.  We are all here to support one another to enhance our business.


  Throughout the year we will be providing speakers enchancing our knowledge and allow for discussions and newtworking amongst our members and guests. Also look for our annual golf tournament, wine tasting, and Rainier's night!! Always fun and a great way to get to know all of our fellow members.


  This will be a great year and I see all of us thriving and taking our business to even higher levels!
